Software and Manuals Frequently Asked Questions Procedure for improved significant figures Problem: Spectre does not provide enough significant figures in the wavelength(um) column of exported ASCII data when the resolution is set above a minimum threshold and when the wavelengths of interest are below 2.0um. Temporary Solution: This fix basically involves exporting the data from SPECTRE and OMNIC and replacing the wavelength data column (##.### significant figures) with the one exported by OMNIC which has plenty of significant figures. Once this data is produced for a given spectral resolution and spectral range, you can copy and paste the wavelength data. |
